'We need more people to step up.' Nonprofit takes over Danville blood donor center

A space that’s normally buzzing with health care workers and residents donating blood was instead replaced — temporarily — with construction crew members bouncing around the suite on Executive Drive in Danville on Wednesday, giving it a major facelift.
