BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WDBJ) - The search for an 18-year-old reported missing from North Carolina has led to Virginia.

October 16, 2025, the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office responded to the 2000 block of Crockett Road regarding a disabled vehicle. Deputies found the vehicle was a Toyota Avalon with North Carolina tags, reported to be driven by 18-year-old Hope Nicole Colby, who was reported missing out of Raleigh, North Carolina the same day.

Investigators say Colby also goes by the names Daisy or Adam.

Deputies say it is possible she is in the Forest or Lynchburg areas.
