It looks like the weather is really going to get active as we move into the weekend! We're keeping a close eye on a developing storm system that's set to move through, bringing us periods of much-needed rain and a chance for some stronger thunderstorms starting late tonight and continuing through Sunday morning. Some areas, could see soaking rainfall totals of an inch or two or even more.
As this system pulls away, we're not just talking about rain; Sunday is shaping up to be quite windy, with gusts from the northwest potentially reaching 30 to 35 mph. This is certainly a bit blustery for this time of year.
We'll also see temperatures taking a significant dive on Sunday, with highs struggling to get out of the 50s.
