However, a significant change is on the horizon as we head into your weekend. We are closely watching a robust fall storm system expected to move into our area. This system is poised to bring showers and thunderstorms, with the main event firing up from Saturday afternoon through late Saturday night.

Now, while most storms should be manageable, we do need to keep an eye out because a few of these storms could reach severe levels. We're seeing some limiting factors, which might keep the most intense severe weather from developing, but we will absolutely be monitoring for any shifts.
