BERTIE COUNTY, N.C., (WAVY)-- Three people face charges following a drive-by shooting incident in Merry Hill on October 14.
According to officials, deputies were called to NC Highway 45 at 2:30 a.m. for the report of a residence being struck by continuous gunfire. Deputies recovered 37 shell casings from the area around the residence. No one was injured.
The following day, investigators gathered and reviewed evidence, interviewed witnesses, and developed leads in connection with the incident.
As a result, 19-year-old Molique Dedmand, 20-year-old Ty Nelson Dorsey Lee and 18-year-old Kiyuntae Zyleek Allen were taken in to custody. They face the following charges.
Dedmand: • 6 counts of Attempted Murder • Shooting into an occupied dwelling
Lee: • Accessory after the fact
