Bishop Baraga Catholic School welcomes Alfred Drago as principal

CHEBOYGAN — Bishop Baraga Catholic School in Cheboygan has a new leader.

The Diocese of Gaylord announced this week Alfred Drago has been named Principal at Bishop Baraga.

He and his wife, Jo Ann, have been married 48 years and have 3 children, 4 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Drago said in a statement, “I have been an educator and administrator for 25 years; 13 of which have been in Catholic Schools. I am very excited to be chosen as the principal of Bishop Baraga Catholic School!”
