DES MOINES, Iowa (Gray Media Iowa State Capitol Bureau) -- A team of researchers is working to find out why Iowa is one of the worst places in the country for new cancer cases. The Iowa Cancer Consortium found that no state has a faster increase in the rate of new cancer diagnoses than Iowa, and only one state in the country has a higher rate of new cancer cases.
