LAKE CHARLES, La. (KPLC) - All eyes are set on the cold front moving in this weekend as it looks to bring our best chance of rain in some time as well as a brief but noticeable cool down.

Skies look to remain mostly clear outside of a few fair weather clouds through our Friday night and into Saturday morning.

Temperatures will be cooler into the upper 60s to near 70 for Saturday morning as humidity will remain a big story as winds remain out of the south.

Heading into Saturday morning, quiet conditions look to stick around, but a mixture of sun and clouds will allow temperatures to quickly climb into the afternoon.

Highs will be back into the upper 80s, but feeling more like the middle 90s thanks to humidity and sunshine mixing.
