Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Ray-Ray McCloud will not play this weekend, and there’s no telling when he might return, as he has been handed his marching orders while the team tries to figure some things out.

McCloud was a healthy scratch for ATL when they beat the Buffalo Bills on Monday and hasn’t been at practice all week.

The Falcons said he was not injured, with head coach Raheem Morris having since revealed he sent him home while they try to work through some issues and straighten things out.

Raheem would not delve any further, noting that the matter was private, but he did suggest that the player was not being punished, referring to the leave of absence as football-related.
