COLUMBIA — Communities across the United States, including several in mid-Missouri, are organizing another round of No Kings protests on Saturday to push back against what organizers say is an authoritarian overreach by the Trump administration.

In mid-Missouri, protests will take place in Columbia, Jefferson City, Fulton, Boonville, Fayette and Moberly.

"The 'No Kings' peaceful demonstration is a direct response to the administration's defiance of the courts, deportation and harassment of American citizens, using the military against our fellow citizens, attempting to control free press and funding of cruel and illegal deportation operations while cutting services working families rely on every day," a news release from the Mid-Missouri Solidarity Network said.
