Seattle police officers arrested two 17-year-old boys Sunday evening after they eluded officers and crashed a stolen car in the Greenlake neighborhood.
On Oct 12, at about 9:50 p.m., Community Response Group (CRG) officers, working with the Renton Police Department, were searching for a stolen car taken during an armed robbery earlier that day.
CRG officers spotted the car in the 900 block of North 98th Street and initiated a high-risk traffic stop. The driver immediately fled from officers, initiating a vehicle pursuit. The driver fled southbound on Aurora Avenue North, driving recklessly, running multiple red lights.
