Seattle police officers arrested two 17-year-old boys Sunday evening after they eluded officers and crashed a stolen car in the Greenlake neighborhood.

On Oct 12, at about 9:50 p.m., Community Response Group (CRG) officers, working with the Renton Police Department, were searching for a stolen car taken during an armed robbery earlier that day.

CRG officers spotted the car in the 900 block of North 98th Street and initiated a high-risk traffic stop. The driver immediately fled from officers, initiating a vehicle pursuit. The driver fled southbound on Aurora Avenue North, driving recklessly, running multiple red lights.

Moments later, the driver lost control of the car, and it crashed into an SUV and then into a fence in the Greenlake neighborhood. CRG arrested the driver from the vehicl
