Middlesbrough returned to the top of the Championship with a 2-1 victory over Ipswich Town at the Riverside.

Darragh O’Shea scored a late goal to make the ending a little more tense than they’d have liked, but a Cedric Kipre own goal was followed up by a Morgan Whittaker strike as Boro added another three huge points.

Rebounding from their first defeat of the season at Portsmouth last time out, Boro had quality to compete with one of the strongest teams in the division, and then grit to grind out the rest. Here are the Boro ratings after a win full of drama.
