BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - You can expect a major road closure for those driving through Bangor next week.

The City of Bangor says a section of Broadway near the I-95 bridge construction site will be closed between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. starting Sunday night and ending Thursday morning.

The closure is necessary as crews work to demolish the I-95 Southbound bridge over Broadway.

For those walking in the area, the city says there will be flaggers to help assist pedestrians.
