PUEBLO, Colo. (KKTV) - On Friday night, the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) announced that Davis Mortuary has officially relinquished its license.
This comes after 24 bodies, along with several containers of bones and “probable human tissue,” were found inside the funeral home owned by former Pueblo County Coroner Brian Cotter and his brother Chris Cotter.
An investigation has been ongoing into the funeral home and the Cotter brothers.
DORA said that Davis Mortuary has permanently relinquished its registrations to operate as a funeral home establishment and crematory within the state of Colorado.
