CLEVELAND, Ohio (WOIO) - As one legal hurdle ends , another continues as a family and community work to get ‘Justice for Julian.’
The parents of three-year-old Julian Wood filed a civil lawsuit against Giant Eagle and two of its employees in October of 2024 . The couple’s young son was viciously stabbed to death, and his mother injured by Bionca Ellis on June 3, 2024 in the store’s parking lot.
Just this week Ellis was found guilty of all criminal charges and prepares to her hear punishment scheduled for October 27.
In the meantime, the civil case continues to move through the justice system, alleging negligence, gross negligence and recklessness against the grocery store giant.
Attorney Charlie Rittgers who represents the Wood family told 19 News last October, “Corporations wh
