GRESHAM, Ore. — Another suspect has been arrested in connection with the death of a 13-year-old who was fatally wounded by stray gunfire through the wall of a Gresham apartment this spring.

On Friday, the U.S. Marshals, along with the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and Beaverton Police Department, arrested Xavier Romello Hirsch in Beaverton. The U.S. Marshals Service did not say what led them to Hirsch's location.

On April 27, Liam Spahnle-Bailey was sleeping at his dad's apartment in the early morning hours, planning to go on a snowboarding trip with his dad later that day. A shooting broke out in the adjacent unit, with stray bullets coming through the wall and hitting Spahnle-Bailey, who died of his injuries at the hospital.
