Calls for UK Government to raise Personal Allowance to protect pensioners View 2 Images
Independent MP James McMurdock has asked the UK Government if it plans to review the Personal Allowance threshold to "prevent pensioners paying income tax". The Personal Allowance has been frozen at £12,570 since 2021 and earlier this year, the Labour Government confirmed it will remain at that level until April 2028.
