SEATTLE — The street drummer who has become a fixture outside T-Mobile Park during the Seattle Mariners' postseason run is dealing with a significant setback after his sound equipment was stolen Thursday night.
Bryan Lash, a Bellevue resident known for energizing crowds outside the stadium, said his speaker system was taken while he stepped away for lunch after playing for hours before a game.
"They just came over, unplugged it, put it in their cart, walked over here, down across First Avenue, and that's the last time I saw it," Lash said.
KING 5 talked to a stadium staff member who witnessed the theft and described the suspect as a man under 6-foot-tall with a white beanie and a cart.
According to Lash, the stolen equipment is valued at approximately $4,500.
