NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Detectives are investigating a shooting that allegedly occurred during an argument between pedicab drivers in downtown Nashville early Saturday morning.
Officers responded to the incident shortly before 2:30 a.m. on Rep. John Lewis Way between Broadway and Demonbreun Street.
According to officials, an argument between two pedicab drivers and their passengers led to shots being fired by one of the drivers. Authorities said the victim was shot once in the head and taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center in very critical condition.
The suspect was arrested when officers arrived and the gun reportedly used in the shooting was recovered, officials said.
No additional details were immediately released.
