NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — The recent arrests of three men, including a former high school head football coach, has highlighted law enforcement's work to stop prostitution in Middle Tennessee.
Along with the Metro Nashville Police Department, the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation made arrests connected to the sting Wednesday.
"Our goal is that when we do these situations, we find these people and make sure everyone knows this isn't okay," the Assistant District Attorney for Davidson County, Macy Pesavento, said. "Hopefully, that will prevent it from happening in the future."
Pesavento prosecutes adult sex crimes and human trafficking cases. During the year, she said the MNPD contacts them about sting operations, which help catch criminals.
