A network of timeshare fraudsters scammed more than 3,000 people out of £28m, a court heard .
The conspiracy, led by Mark Rowe, operated under the brand Sell My Timeshare (SMT) and targeted owners desperate to sell their properties. But, the 54-year-old's network of fraudsters has come crashing down after they were sentenced for their roles in the fraud.
Investigators said Rowe "put victims up in hotels" and "created fake virtual offices and fake personas" as part of the fraud, with 14 people ultimately being convicted of various offences under Operation Destin.
