VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Virginia Beach firefighters responded to a fire at a vacant home in the 100 block of South Kentucky Avenue late Friday night.

The fire happened shortly after 11 p.m. When crews arrived, they found smoke and flames coming from the single-story residence. The fire was contained to a small area in the living room.

No one was injured, and no one was displaced, officials said.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
