Family says ICE broke door, detained 2 Gresham men while seeking someone else

GRESHAM, Ore. — Federal agents broke down a bedroom door and detained two men at a Gresham apartment Wednesday afternoon while searching for a different person, according to video of the incident and family members.

The interaction, which was captured on camera and widely shared on social media, happened around an hour after officers arrived outside the apartment on 190th Avenue, calling for someone to exit the home.

In the video, a masked agent breaks down the door while others rush in, displaying guns and telling those inside to put their hands up. In Spanish, agents order the family to walk over as a baby cries in the background. The two men are led down the hallway while the woman recording is told to go to another bedroom.
