FRANKLIN, Texas (KBTX) - The Franklin Lions sent their homecoming crowd home happy with a 64-14 victory over the Academy Bubblebees.

Why did Franklin win? The Lions offensive and defensive lines held the upper hand throughout the night. This opened up playmaking opportunities for their weapons on both sides of the ball.

Standout performance? Franklin maintained a versatile offensive attack, led by senior running back Bubba Jackson. When he racked up his yards on the ground, he physically wore down any defenders attempting to bring him down.

What’s next? Franklin travels to McGregor next Friday for a road contest at 7:30 p.m.
