TUCSON, Ariz. (KVOA) - The Humane Society of Southern Arizona is teaming up with Greater Good Charities and the University of Arizona College of Veterinary Medicine to host a free vaccine clinic for dogs and cats.
The clinic is scheduled for Oct. 19, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 741 W. Roger Road, the HSSA west gate entrance.
Vaccines are available until noon or once the first 125 animals are served. Pet owners are encouraged to arrive early.
Vaccines for dogs will include parvo, distemper and rabies shots, while cats will receive the FVRCP vaccine. Dogs must be on leashes and cats in carriers, with no limit on the number of pets per person. HSSA said pet owners should bring only what they can safely manage.
