KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- "No Kings" protests saw masses of people gather in cities across the United States on Saturday; Kansas City was no exception.

After thousands gathered at Kansas City's Country Club Plaza back in June for the first "No Kings" rally, another was held on Saturday, October 18.

Indivisible Kansas City, the group that organized the first protest, said the event in June was a message against authoritarianism and a pledge to democracy.

This time around, the No Kings Coalition echoes a similar motive - that the protests across the country are pushing back against President Donald Trump's latest efforts to move federal agents into US cities.
