MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - Madison College hosted a free dental clinic on Saturday to give back to Wisconsin veterans.

The event, called, ‘Give Veterans a Smile,’ allowed Wisconsin veterans to receive dental exams, cleanings and X-rays all at no cost.

The Greater Dane Dental Society teamed up with Madison College to put on the second annual event, bringing in both dental students and local dentists to provide care.

Veterans were also paired with dentists in the community so they can continue their care in the future.

Organizers say access to dental care is a problem for veterans nationwide, and they want to make a positive change.
