ROCK TOWNSHIP, Wis. (WMTV) - Four people were hurt in a crash in the Town of Rock on Friday evening, according to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said the crash happened just after 5:15 p.m. on S USH 51 by W Terrington Drive in Rock Township.
The Sheriff’s Office said an early investigation showed that a Jeep Cherokee, driven by a 17-year-old from Beloit, was headed north and crossed the center line of the highway. That vehicle then hit a Kia Sorento going south.
According to officials, four people in the two vehicles were hurt and treated at local hospitals. The driver of the Kia, a 42-year-old from Janesville, had serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
A section of S USH 51 was closed for over an hour because of the crash. An investigation is ongoing.
