DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver weather forecast includes the first widespread frost across the metro tonight before southerly winds return on Sunday, boosting our temperatures well into the 70s for Sunday afternoon.

Quiet weather continues in terms of the lack of precipitation, however, breezy conditions will continue settling down Saturday evening before returning behind another cold front on Monday.

Weather tonight: Clear and Frosty

Tonight will be the coldest air for much of the Front Range and Plains since late Spring as temperatures fall deep into the 30s with many 20s common across the Plains. Denver metro residents should be sure to cover up their sensitive plants if they want them to last a little longer this fall.
