A ridge of high pressure continues to build across New Mexico through the rest of the weekend A warming trend started today and will continue into Sunday. Sunny skies will continue as well with dry conditions. Winds get breezy Sunday afternoon, especially in eastern New Mexico, where gusts over 35 mph will be possible. Temperatures continue to climb into Monday. A backdoor cold front moves in from the northeast Monday night, dropping high and low temperatures again for Tuesday.
A Pacific low pressure system will move in from the west Wednesday, bringing a chance for isolated showers and thunderstorms across New Mexico Wednesday into Thursday. Rainfall accumulations will be light through.
