COLUMBIA — Community members gathered chanting for change and filling streets with colorful signs around the Boone County Courthouse as Columbia hosted its second "No Kings" protest.

Columbia's protest was just one of thousands of protests that occurred across the country. The movement protested the policies of the Trump administration, accusing the president of behaving more like a monarch than an elected official.

At Columbia's rally, many speakers delivered speeches based on personal connections, along with one attendee who performed songs expressing emotion toward new policies. There were also several of petition booths to address gerrymandering in Missouri and other social issues.
