Police investigating shooting near two Cobb County schools

Cobb County Police are investigating a shooting that happened near a middle and high school early Friday morning.

Police said the domestic-related shooting occurred at a location on Kirkwood Drive near Awtry Middle School and North Cobb High School.

Officers said there is no threat to the community stemming from this incident.

At this time, no injuries have been reported.
