DULUTH — No. 17 Minnesota Duluth left no openings for Minnesota State Moorhead to attack them on Saturday as the Bulldogs cruised to a 3-0 (25-16, 25-19, 25-11) sweep of the Dragons at Romano Gym.

UMD hit .418 for the match and committed only seven attack errors over the course of 121 points. The Dragons were credited with just one ace and two blocks over the three sets.

Kylie Broten led the onslaught for UMD, recording 16 kills without an error on 23 total attacks. Elyse Karrels finished with 12 kills and just one error, while Xada Johnson added eight kills and Mollie Rupp seven.

Ava Jones set the Bulldogs with 43 assists.

Defensively, Karrels had a hand in six blocks, while Madison Reed's 14 digs led the back row.
