AURORA, Minn. (Northern News Now) - A vehicle rollover on Highway 100 left two injured just south of Aurora.

According to the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office, crews responded to reports that one occupant was ejected.

Upon arrival, it was determined that the vehicle was occupied by two individuals, identified as a 38-year-old male from Eveleth and a 52-year-old female from Aurora.

Both occupants were transported to Northern Pines Hospital in Aurora before the woman was air-lifted to a Duluth area hospital.

The exact extent of injuries to the occupant is unknown but believed to be potentially serious.

The accident remains under investigation by the Minnesota State Patrol and St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.
