SALEM, N.H. —
People on a rollercoaster at Canobie Lake Park had to be removed from the ride after it stopped going up a hill.
It happened Friday night on the "Untamed" rollercoaster, according to the park. The carrier came to a stop near the base of the lift hill.
Guests had to be removed from the rollercoaster, the park said. There were no injuries.
The video shows the coaster stopped in an upright position going up the hill.
"We were walking towards one of the last haunted houses, and we looked up and could see everybody on their back dangling. Oh, I was like, wait a minute. Is this for real, or is this another prop?" said Kim Bowen, who was at the park.
The ride carrier can hold eight people, the park said. The maintenance team is working to determine the cause of the interruptio
