BEAUXART GARDENS, Texas — A 57-year-old woman died in a Beauxart Gardens house fire early Sunday morning has been identified.

The Nederland Fire Department, along with the Port Neches and Groves fire departments, responded to a house just outside Nederland city limits on Kilarney Drive around 5:10 a.m., according to Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Capt. Crystal Holmes.

Family members escaped the house without injury, according to Capt. Holmes. However, a 57-year-old woman was unable to escape the flames.

The 57-year-old woman was identified Monday morning as Deedra Bell, according to Jefferson County Precinct Seven Justice of the Peace Brad Burnett.
