SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - The Savannah Police Department is investigating two shootings from over the weekend.

The first shooting occurred Saturday night, where a man was shot in the leg at a commercial building on Lee Boulevard.

Police say officers responded the scene around 11:55 p.m. and found the victim. EMS responded and took the man to the hospital.

Police are also investigating a shooting that took place early Sunday morning, where a man was shot in the 1400 block of Augusta Avenue.

Police say officers responded to the shooting around 3:40 a.m. Sunday morning and found a man with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound to his upper thigh. EMS responded and took the man to the hospital.

No arrests have been made in either of these shootings and both remain under investigation. SPD ask
