Ohio & Mahoning Valley - This Sunday marks the beginning of National Teen Driving Safety Week. The Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) reminds parents and guardians of teenagers about important, and potentially life-saving, conversations they can and should have with their young drivers.
According to OHSP, family examples and feedback are critical to reinforcing safe driving practices in teens. "I encourage parents and guardians to actively coach their teens on safe driving skills and have open and consistent conversations with their kids about the importance of being a responsible driver,” says Governor Mike DeWine.
