New Delhi: A late header from Harry Maguire sealed Manchester United’s thrilling 2–1 over reigning champions Liverpool in the English Premier League on Sunday and their nine-year drought without victory at Anfield.

It w as a blow to Liverpool’s title chase as they have now four games on the trot across all competitions, dropping to fourth in the standings on 15 points, falling four behind leaders Arsenal.

United won consecutive league games for the first time under manager Ruben Amorim jumped to ninth with 13 points.
