MARLBORO COUNTY, S.C. — Authorities are searching for two suspects connected to an armed robbery, followed by a car chase that started in Chesterfield County and ended in a crash in Marlboro County.

The pursuit started after an armed robbery in the Society Hill area of Chesterfield County, according to the Chesterfield County Sheriff's Office .

Deputies chased the suspect's vehicle into Marlboro County, where it crashed at the intersection of Neville Bennett and Ottis Parrish roads, the Marlboro County Sheriff's Office said. One suspect then ran from the scene.

Marlboro County deputies later identified a second suspect in connection with the robbery.

Chesterfield County deputies are working with Marlboro County and the Bennettsville Police Department to find the suspect.
