A 'little boy' suffered a head injury in an incident involving a fairground ride at a popular North Yorkshire pumpkin picking spot. The incident happened at Spilman's Farm, in Thirsk, on Friday around 7.20pm.
Paramedics from the Yorkshire Ambulance Service (YAS) and the Yorkshire Air Ambulance were called to the site, and the youngster was taken to James Cook University Hospital , in Middlesbrough . He suffered a head injury, said a YAS spokeswoman.
A Spilman's spokesperson responded to a customer asking on its Facebook page whether the ride "the little boy fell out of" would be closed. They said: "Yes, the ride’s been closed today (Saturday) while everything’s being checked over. It was a really upsetting thing to happen, but thankfully the little boy is fine and recovering."
