MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) -What a difference a day makes! After yesterday’s pleasant 70-degree weather, we’re dealing with a much different situation this Sunday afternoon across southern Wisconsin. The rain from overnight moved out this morning, and we’re seeing clearing skies spreading from west to east across our area.

The big story today is the wind. Northwest winds are gusting between 30 and 35 mph this afternoon as cooler, drier air moves in behind yesterday’s cold front. These gusty conditions will continue through the rest of the day, making it feel even chillier than the actual temperature readings.
