After a soggy day on Sunday, showers will taper off before daybreak on Monday, but we aren't done with the rain for the week by any means.
Monday kicks the work week off on a breezy but sunny start. Expect winds to die down during the second half of the day, with afternoon high temperatures peaking in the upper 50s with plenty of sunshine.
Monday will also likely be our first sub-60-degree high temperature of the fall season, a milestone we typically hit in late September. If we fall below 60 degrees tomorrow, it would be the latest we hit the mark since 2016.
Under a clear sky Monday night, temperatures will be more reasonable, falling to the low 40s.
After Monday, low pressure aloft will settle over the region, allowing for multiple rounds of showers through the end of the week.
