MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - A suspected drunk driver is in custody after a crash that sent teenagers to the hospital on Sunday, according to the Memphis Police Department.

Officers responded to the crash just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday at Macon Road and Wells Station Road.

Officers arrived on the scene to a man lying next to a 2018 Nissan Altima, suffering from head trauma. A front passenger was unresponsive on the sidewalk with significant injuries.

The driver was taken to Regional One Medical in critical condition.

The passenger was taken to LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in critical condition.

Police then found the driver of a black 2000 Chevrolet Silverado standing next to his vehicle, in the parking lot of Panaderia La Ilusion on 4312 Macon Road.
