BERNALILLO, N.M. (KRQE) – Dozens came out to the Coronado Historic Site to see the diverse history and wide variety of cultures that make up New Mexico. At the Fiesta of Cultures, attendees got to explore unique vendors and artists from across the state and see performances from East Indian, Irish, and Native American communities.

Event organizers say people came to embrace the history of New Mexico. "I just hope if they have not had a chance to visit the site, they come realize what a great resource we have here. They come see some of the great performers, vendors, and everything in our local community, and they just have a fun day," said Jessica Coyle, instructional supervisor at the Coronado Historical Site.

This was the 20th Annual Fiesta of Cultures event.
