SIOUX COUNTY, Iowa (KTIV) - One man was killed another injured in a Saturday night accident in Sioux County.

The collision took place at Highway 18 and Jay Ave, between Boyden, Iowa and Hull, Iowa, on Saturday, Oct. 18, at 11:08 p.m.

According to the Iowa State Patrol, a GMC Yukon driven by 21-year-old Enrique De Leon Martinez of Sioux Center was traveling east on the highway, west of Jay Avenue, when it crossed the center line and into the westbound lane.

The crash report says the Yukon reportedly struck a second vehicle, a Chrysler Town & Country, driven by 63-year-old Brian Dean Bouma of Hull, Iowa.

Bouma was killed in the crash and Martinez was taken to the Stanford Sheldon Hospital by Sheldon Ambulance.
