The woman accusing an Irish firefighter of raping her in a downtown Boston hotel last year during St. Patrick’s Day celebrations took the stand at his retrial on Friday, testifying that she awoke to the assault.

Wiping tears from her face, the woman said she woke up in a hotel bed with Terence E. Crosbie “inside” her.

“He was continuing to penetrate me, he didn’t stop, he said that I liked it,” she testified on the second day of testimony in Suffolk Superior Court.

Crosbie, who was visiting Boston with the Dublin Fire Brigade to participate in the holiday parade, has pleaded not guilty. At the first trial in June, the jury deadlocked.
