The UK faces FOUR DAYS of snow as the white stuff hits England this week - with -3C lows expected at times. New weather maps and charts, from WX Charts, which use Met Desk data, show a downturn in conditions is likely.

From Thursday, October 23, snowfall is expected across several regions including Wales, northern England and parts of Scotland. Counties in England at risk include the Pennines, including Durham, Northumberland and Cumbria.

From Friday, snowfall is expected to intensify. Snowfall is then likely to hit across Sunday, October 26, and Monday, October 27 as the mercury continues to drop, potentially bringing a -3C to England at its coldest.
