Met Office weather maps have laid bare ALL the parts of the UK facing snowfall before the end of the week. Maps from the forecaster show flurries of snowfall in and around the country on Saturday, October 25.

The flurries are anticipated to sweep across swathes of Scotland and northern England. Maps for the early hours of Saturday, from midnight, show areas like Brechin could be on the brink of a dusting.

Areas like Ullapool, Craig, Scardroy, and Letterewe face flurries, as well as Loch Glascarnoch, Grantown on Spey and further south. The flurries look likely to intensify, with maps showing blotches of white and grey - signifying snowfall - through 1am and 2am, before becoming heavier towards 4am.
