BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCBD) – A family in Berkeley County is recovering after the home was damaged in a weekend fire.

Officials said the fire happened Sunday afternoon on East Church Street in Bonneau.

The Red Cross said it was helping three people by providing financial assistance for immediate needs like food, clothing, shelter, and referrals for much-needed resources.
